I am Nao Enomoto, a product designer with a bit of interest in engineering.
Hi, Thank you for visiting this page. Let me share a bit of my story.
I am a product designer living in the countryside of Japan. With over six years of experience, I specialize in creating software that is not only fun and intuitive but also aesthetically beautiful and functional. I am deeply passionate about developing products that solve user problems effectively.
I started my career leaning towards graphic design and illustration after graduating with a major in Graphic Design. Even my initial role as a UI designer in my first company was heavily focused on visual aspects. You might wonder how I landed a UI design job—well, it might sound cliché, but I’ve been fascinated by computers and technology all my life, so naturally, I perhap was drawn to the intersection of design and engineering.
In 2019, just before the pandemic, I found myself contemplating deeply about what makes a truly great product. I realized that to create outstanding software, I needed to understand its inner workings as well as I understood its design—similar to how architects must understand buildings. This epiphany led me to start coding and building software myself. These bold moves benefited me in great ways and not only enabled me to see digital product in depth but also deepened the visual quality I yield.
Today, I design software by day and moonlight as an indie developer by night. I often build complete apps or prototypes to explore new interactive possibilities. My ultimate goal as a designer is to create products that help people focus on their lives and find meaning in their world.
It’s really hard to pick just a few things I like and talk about them, so I’ll keep it simple. I love making things. They don’t have to be big—just real and meaningful. I enjoy taking photos, drawing and creating digital stuffs. Above all, when I need new ideas or just want to feel inspired, traveling is the best. It helps me see new things and share them in my work.
Wow, you made it all the way here! Seems like you’re interested in learning more about me, doesn’t it? I hope this is just the beginning of our connection. You can find links to my contact information below. Please feel free to reach out if you’d like to connect.
